What does 'royalty-free' mean?
Royalty-free pricing is not based on the specific use. You don't have to pay any additional fees on a use-by-use basis. Once you purchase a royalty-free product, you may use it multiple times for multiple projects without paying additional fees. Royalty-free images offer creative professionals an alternative to right-managed imagery -- without sacrificing quality or creativity. Royalty-free products provide a solution for every budget, with few usage restrictions. Once you pay the fee for a royalty-free product, you can use the images as frequently and creatively as you'd like. Please read terms & conditons . (Pornographic, defamatory, libelous or otherwise unlawful use of any image is, of course, prohibited.) Royalty-free products are identified by an (RF) notation next to the identification number.

What does 'rights-managed' mean?
Rights-managed products are high-quality products with a license and fee based on your specific use. The fee is calculated from several factors including print run, size, placement, duration of use and geographic distribution. At the time you order a rights-managed product, you will be asked to submit information that will determine your licensing fee. Rights-managed products are identified by an (RM) notation next to the identification number.

How do you protect the privacy of the information I submit to you?
We don't sell or share information, including your email address to other companies. Information submited to us is kept fully confidential and for our records only.

Searching images

Can I search without being registered?
Yes. You can search and download free comping images without registering on our site. The image comps you download will have an embossed watermark on them. To download non-watermarked comps, you'll need to complete the registration form found on the website.

How do I download free comping images?
From the Search Results, Lightbox or Image Detail page, click the 'Download comp' link beneath the image and your comping image will appear in a pop-up window. To save this image, follow the browser and platform-specific instructions that appear above the comping image.

How do I get detailed information about an image?
To view in-depth information about an image, go to the Image Detail page by clicking any thumbnail image on the Search Results page or in your Lightbox. The Image Detail page provides complete information about an image, such as keywords associated with that image, file sizes and additional information.

How does your image-numbering system work?
As the website hosts royalty free and rights managed collection together, image numbers ending with RF - means the image is royalty free and RM denotes the image in rights managed. You should be able to search using image numbers that appear in any catalog.


Purchasing images


Do I need to register to purchase? How do I register?
Yes, you need to register by adding your mailing profile. If you are not yet registered, you will be prompted to complete your mailing and billing profile as part of the image purchasing process.

How do I determine image prices?
Royalty-free:
Price for royalty-free images are fixed for the file size/resolution.
Rights-managed:
To determine the price for rights-managed images, you must be fully registered on our site. Then send us the details of the usage, print run, image size, terriotry of use, exculsive or non-exclusive and we will send you a quote.


Ordering CD-ROMs


Select 'CDs' on the navigation bar. On our CD page, you can browse through our collection of royalty-free CDs. When you see the one you want, click on the CD image thumbnails to view more details and the images from the CD. To order a CD, send us the title of the CD and your user name.

How can I preview an entire CD?
You can preview any CD by clicking on the thumbnail image of that CD on the CD page, which then launches a page that enables you to view thumbnails of all the images on that CD.

What delivery service do you use, and when can I expect to receive catalogs and royalty-free CDs I order?
We use ARAMEX for deliveries to clients outside the UAE, with priority service only. Delivery times vary depending on destination location. Deliveries to gulf city arrive the next day (provided orders are received before 3.00pm local time). Deliveries to other countries typically take from two to three days, assuming there are no difficulties moving the products through customs.
